Financial Aid

When people think of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, they think of a prestigious theological institution training religious leaders for today's church, the academy, and our world. What they don't always think about is the staff members who contribute to every aspect of this world-changing enterprise. Every member of Garrett-Evangelical’s staff has an important job to do, and each takes pride and finds meaning in being part of this exceptional seminary. We welcome you to this beloved community and stand ready to assist you as needed and to make the most of your theological education.

Within this section of myGETS you'll find a wealth of resources. Should you have specific questions or needs related to any of these offices, you will find a one-page campus directory to your right that lists all staff and faculty members. In addition, you can find a Staff Directory by department on the seminary's website.

We're glad you're here! Our world is desperate for religious leaders who are equipped to live and proclaim the Gospel and to minister and teach in diverse congregations and educational settings. We've been training such leaders since 1853, yet we are just getting started. Welcome!

Chapel Program

The Chapel Program provides opportunities to praise and worship God, to grow spiritually, and to learn together about the ministries of preaching and worship. Our Community Worship and Communal Prayer services are times where faculty, students, staff, and family members are together affirming that we are an authentic and prophetic community of faith.

Communications Office

The purpose of the Communications department is to increase awareness of and commitment to the seminary from prospective and current students, alums, trustees, friends, foundations, corporations, and churches. Specifically, we seek to attract quality students; increase the pool of donors and generate more gifts; and establish greater bonds with the Church, the academy, and both our local and global community.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Department manages and administers all aspects revolving around human resources and payroll matters. The department works closely with the leadership team and all departments throughout the seminary on strategic planning that will sustain the seminary in the long term while ensuring these decisions are in alignment with our core mission.
