Some student workers participate in the Federal Work Study (FWS) program at Garrett. If you are signed up for FWS, upon hire, you need to click the link below to access the 2021-22 Federal Work Study form that you and your supervisor need to complete via DocuSign. 

Not all student workers participate in FWS, so if you aren't sure if you have FWS please contact Mary Greenwood, Director of Student Financial Services, at mary.greenwood@garrett.edu.If you have any questions about completing this form, please contact Human Resources at human.resources@garrett.edu. 

When you click the link below, the instruction page in DocuSign will appear and you need to:

• Enter your full name (first and last name) and email address as the student and then your supervisor's name (first name and last name) and email address. Then select "Begin Signing." While DocuSign does not make the supervisor's name and email mandatory fields, you must fill them out or we will ask you to repeat this step.
• This will take you to the form where you can complete the fields assigned to you as the student. When the form first opens, select the "Continue" button.
• Then enter the information in the fields that have a red box around them. To enter information in a field, click inside the red box and start typing your response.
• When you have completed the fields and electronically signed, then select the "Finish" button at the bottom of the page.
• You will have the option to download, print, or close. You can select one of these options and you are done.
• At this point, the form will go to your supervisor for them to complete their portion of the form.
• Once they have completed this step, then you will receive a notification that the form is complete and you will be able to download and print the completed form.
• This completed form will also be received by your supervisor and the Human Resources Office. The Human Resources Office will upload this form to your electronic personnel file in ADP.
