Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary has launched an Alerts Notification System that allows us to alert you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather closings or active violence situations.  If you are an employee or student of Garrett-Evangelical you have automatically been opted into emergency notifications.

The Alerts Notification System allows each user to determine their preferred method of contact. To manage your preferences, go to the Alerts Notification System portal.

Please note, if we can't reach you, then we cannot alert you. It is imperative that you update your contact information whenever it changes. To update your contact information, go to the Alerts Notification System.

How it Works

When we issue an alerts notification, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication methods that you have registered. If requested for the notification, you can confirm that you have received the message and you will not be contacted by any subsequent methods regarding that particular notification. If you do not confirm, the system will continue to attempt to reach you at all of the contact paths that you have registered.

Keep Your Contact Info Updated
We can only alert you if we have your correct contact information in our alert system. Please make sure to keep this information current in the Everbridge system. Here are the instructions for updating your information in the Garrett Alerts system.
